ATTACK CONDEMNED AS OUTRAGEOUS CALL FOR ARREST & PROSECUTIONS & FLORIDA TASK FORCE
Last night a carefully-planned, well organized, military-style attack was made on a Southern-American War Memorial at Chapel Hill campus of the University of North Carolina. Press reports indicate the perpetrators utilized Anti-fa tactics including masks, the camouflage of a large mob, and deployed other countermeasures like smoke bombs and screens to shield their steel cables and rigging to the memorial. The perpetrators ignored law enforcement commands, and overwhelmed the small police presence to achieve their mission: the outrageous, lawless, forceful destruction of public property and desecration of a veterans monument and the elimination of free speech. The perpetrators were recognized by media and the event was publicized on social media in advance. This should send a shock wave around the nation that the rule of law, property rights, and free speech are all under attack by weaponizing a war memorial . Training sessions are being conducted later this month to do more of the same advertised by #DoItLikeDurham. It is promoted by groups including the World Workers Party the Party for Socialism and Liberation, the latter who claimed credit for vandalism of a private veterans memorial in Tampa, Florida. We believe If these incidents constitute Domestic Terrorism, and if are not dealt with, they will continue, and will come south to Florida. Americans have to decide if they will let this stand by or if they will demand that Law Enforcement and Elected Officials hold the perpetrators accountable. In Florida, we call on Candidates and Elected Officials to condemn this outrageous attack and to pledge to protect public and private property and respect Veterans Observances. We also demand the Attorney General establish a Task Force involving local, state, and federal law enforcement to investigate into linkages between the organizers of this outrageous attack and its connections with similar incidents in Florida.
