PETITION TO PENSACOLA MAYOR GROVER ROBINSON & THE CITY COUNCIL:

In June 2015 in a knee-jerk response to the Dylann Roof's unconscionable church shooting, and the #fakenews reports about photo shopped pictures of him with a historical American Flag, City of Pensacola, FL Mayor Ashton Hayward unilaterally decided to purge a part of Pensacola's rich history to remove from the "Pensacola:  City of Five Flags" display the flag the main stream media and the Southern Poverty Law Center blamed on the shooting.

Now we see that the goal was not one historical flag or another.  The shooting was hi-jacked and exploited by the radical left, including certain professors at University of West Florida, to advance their Marxist agenda and to attack our nation itself:  not just historical flags and monuments but all traditions and foundations from the Constitution and bill of rights to the National Anthem and the Starts and Stripes.

 

Mayor Robinson, you boast that you are a 7th generation Pensacola native.  We believe the time has  come restore Pensacola's heritage and history and restore the correct Flag display and you are the right person to do it.

State Representative Mike Hill requested this in January 2020, and I/ we ask you to do so as well.

Restore the Historical 5 Flags of Pensacola NOW.
