Tampa - On Thursday, Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn noted that he could sleep at night knowing he had sided against David Duke in the issue of the Confederate War Memorial in downtown Tampa. Earlier in the day, on social media, Thursday Black Lives Matter Hollywood took credit for three "KO's" in 2 months, referencing the Hillsborough County Confederate Veterans Memorial as well as two other projects they have been involved in. Some are wondering if this is a way to deflect the criticism that he sided with Black Lives Matter against American veterans. "That's an inventive talking point" noted Doug Guetzloe, Save Southern Heritage - FL spokesman "But its laughable to think that its "OK" to disrespect American Veterans just because David Duke does" said Guetzloe. Guetzloe prides himself in being a 4th generation Tampanian, whose great-grandfather, Waters, the namesake of Waters avenue, was a law enforcement officer shot in the line of duty. "That's just providing cover for his decision to support Black Lives Matters and their blatant disrespect of American Veterans" Guetzloe added. Save Southern Heritage - FL, while condemning David Duke and other supremacist or supremacists groups, of any race, notes the irony. "That raises an interesting contrast. If Buckhorn sides against Duke and with Black Lives Matter, then Commissioner Murman's flip-flopping puts her right into bed with Black Lives Matter, too" said Save Southern Heritage - FL spokesman David McCallister. Many have noted on radio call in shows that Murman lost her courage with Black Lives Matter and out of town sports teams entered the debate, causing her to 'flip flop' with her vote. Murman's friend, Attorney Tom Scarrett, who offered to pay to move the monument has only donated $1,000 himself to according to the Gofundme site, which has raised less than $2,000 in 48 hours.
