Lakeland - Munn Park Cenotaph plaintiff's attorney, David McCallister, announced today that the plaintiffs in the case are asking the US Supreme Court to weigh in on their Federal Lawsuit against Mayor William "Bill" Mutz, the City of Lakeland and others over the removal of the historic monument from Historic Munn Park.
The City argued in their response to the lawsuit that they were justified in moving the monument based on a Supreme Court Decision, Summum v. Pleasant Grove.
Make a statement while helping to fight for Southern Heritage in Florida! We must raise $3,000 in October to fund the 3 Federal lawsuits that seek to overturn unconstitutional "Government Speech Doctrine" and to continue our legislative efforts in Tallahassee.
Please consider purchasing a couple of these shirts (they would make great holiday gifts) to pitch in for the campaign.
Thank you for your support!!!!! Share this with other southern heritage supporters! DEADLINE FOR
Loreta Janeta Velaszquez Velazquez was born in Cuba on June 26, 1842 to a wealthy family. In 1849, she was sent to school in New Orleans, where she resided with her aunt. At the age of 14, she eloped with an officer in the Texas army. When Texas seceded from the Union in 1861, her husband joined the Confederate army and Velazquez pleaded with him to allow her to join him. Undeterred by her husband’s refusal, Velazquez had a uniform made and disguised herself as a man, taking
Terrorists With Planes and Cranes Memories: Twin Towers and Lee Monument
A lot has happened in the last 20 years. Reflecting on the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, aka the “Twin Towers” 20 years this week puts recent history into new perspective.
What did the Twin Towers represent to the terrorists? Perhaps their view of the essence of America - Capitalism.
The first terrorist salvo – Yankee soil. New York. The “Big Apple”. THE epicenter of money and
HK Edgerton at Pro-Cenotaph Rally at Putnam County Courthouse - Summer 2020 I can't think of a better birthday present than to hear the news that in Palatka, Florida the Cenotaph to the Confederate soldier...white, black, brown, red and yellow...all of them...will remain! And that not a dime was raised for its destruction. Last year the County Commission set a threshold of $200,000 for those that sought to take down the Cenotpah to raise for it to be removed to a narrow cau
CANCEL CULTURE EMERGES AS CENSORSHIP Tampa - Save Southern Heritage - FL officially goes on record today opposing New York's new flag censorship law. New York Governor Cuomo signed censorship into law in New York this week. Rep. Biaggi, the bill's sponsor from the Bronx, said "Today New York says 'no' to hate". In fact, she is really saying, "New York says YES to censorship". The bill to ban the Confederate Battle Flag from state fairs is nothing less than an attempt to contr

STATEMENT ON PUTNAM CO COMMISSION
10/27/2020 ACTION ON CONFEDERATE CENOTAPH Palatka – At its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, speakers to leave the Courthouse war memorial in place outnumbered those to remove it 30 to 1. But that didn’t matter to the Commission. The weak-kneed Commission voted to ignore the vast majority of its citizens, including their own duly-appointed citizen “Statue Relocation Committee”, and decided to kick the can down the roa

One SSH FL member, outraged by the SC Senate candidate Lindsey Graham's begging for campaign donations after the big sell-out over the flag on the South Carolina monument that started the wrecking ball rolling back in 2015, shared a letter they wrote in response. Dear Lindsey Graham, You keep asking me for money. I get texts from you. I have gotten letters from you. You even had your surrogate, Nikki Haley, begging me for money for you on Facebook. I am writing to you today b

The removal of the grave of General William Loring was nothing less that total desecration. And the action of the St. Augustine Police Department to prevent filming of this travesty was deplorable. Yet even more deplorable is to hear that the family of the General accepted money from the University of Florida to go along with this travesty while many of us have literally put our lives on the line fighting against this evil. It is now time for Fuchs to leave the South and go b
