FLORIDA ATTORNEY GENERAL PAM BONDI GETS CONFEDERATE VETERAN MONUMENT "TREATMENT"

Tampa – This weekend’s attack on Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi by Organize Florida and its radical left allies is amazingly similar to the treatment received by the group on the Hillsborough County Confederate Cenotaph. Bondi, in her home town, Tampa, over the weekend, was out to see Mr. Rogers’ anti-bullying movie, and she ended up getting the bully treatment that the movie rejects. Tim Heberlein, of Organize Florida, who was also a leader in the #takeitdown efforts in Hillsborough County, was part of the assault that included spitting on and ranting and shouting hate-filled attacks on Ms. Bondi. A video of the incident was posted on the internet showing Ms. Bondi escaping from the Tampa Theater to get away from the haters. “This is the modus operandi of this bunch” said David McCallister, spokesman for Save Southern Heritage – Florida. “If you want to get what you want, just shout, intimidate, harass, and malign those who you disagree with and you can silence them and cause them to get out of the way” he added. “This is exactly what these haters have done to Confederate Veteran Monuments” said McCallister. In Hillsborough County, the County Commission had voted to retain the historic Memoria in Aeterna in public view, but then a coalition of the radical left came together to intimidate, threaten and coerce elected officials and to shut down supporters of the Monument. The tactics worked and the Commission had to endure 6 hours of hate-filled rhetoric, death threats, nails in tires, harassing phone calls, and much more, and finally reversed their position. “We certainly can empathize and sympathize with Ms. Bondi” said McCallister. “This bunch did the same thing to her that they did to the Veterans memorial in Tampa” he added. “There were no ramifications on Tim Heberlein and his allies then, we’ll see if there are now” he said. Heberlein and his allies were undoubtedly emboldened by their success flipping the Hillsborough County Commission decision, and have raised their sites. Heberlein is quoted justifying the Bondi incident "if someone refuses to meet with them, they're going to meet them in public." "This sounds a lot like a threat to every elected official everywhere in Florida to me" said McCallister. “As Floridians who are tired of the tyranny of the minority and the tactics of these domestic terrorists, we certainly do hope Heberlein and his cohorts will be dealt with” concluded McCallister.

SAVE SOUTHERN HERITAGE Inc. is a not for profit corporation that educates & advocates on behalf of Southern Heritage & History. It was started in 2015 in response to the knee-jerk Anti-Southern institutionalized bullying and “Eracism” levied against the people of South Carolina by Governor Nikki Haley, after she broke all previous agreements about how South Carolina’s historical veterans and their symbols should be treated and respected. The Florida branch was activated in mid-January 2016, in response to three initiatives in the Florida Legislature that are part of a hate campaign led by Anti-American extremists, who refuse to respect the various cultures that make up the fabric of Florida’s society. Since that time, it has grown in membership and has been active in battles over American History and throughout Florida including the “We’ll Remember in November Campaign” that resulted in #heritagehater candidates to loose elections in Florida and others to win.
