SOUTHERN HERITAGE GROUP ANNOUNCES VOTER GUIDE SOME DEMOCRATS WANT TO DIG UP CONFEDERATE GRAVES

Tampa – Save Southern Heritage - FL released its voter 2018 Primary Voter Guides today and has given “F minus” ratings to three Democrat Candidates for State or Federal office. See full guide HERE. US Congressional Candidate Dushyant Goasi, (Dist. 3 – Alachua, Marion, Putnam, Bradford & Union Counties); and Florida House of Representative Candidates Geraldine Thompson (Dist 44 – Orange Co.) and Michael Gottleib (Dist 98 – Broward Co.) all received ”F-" rankings on the Save Southern Heritage FL Candidate Voter Guide. Two of the three candidates responded in a survey that they would agree with digging up and moving certain American Veterans graves if they are buried in a public cemetery or park. The third filed a bill that, if enacted into law, arguably would have had the same effect. “We had several candidates agree with moving the usual things like flags and monuments, and a few revealed that really don’t want anything Southern in museums or libraries, including documents like manuscripts, but it is shocking that some candidates for elected office would admit they’re for digging up graves” said David McCallister, Save Southern Heritage - FL spokesman. Goasi is an Indian immigrant and a professor at Argosy University ironically advertises a pro-veterans position in his campaign materials: “Our nation’s veterans deserve better. We owe them.” Gottlieb is a criminal defense attorney for sex offenders in Broward County while boasting in his campaign literature about his service to the community, and shares pictures of his socks on social media. Geraldine Thompson, a career politician, used her last term in the Florida Senate to introduce a bill that would have eliminated all Confederate imagery on public property. She was trounced in her last election bid for Congress, in 2016, garnering less than 20% of the vote. “We are releasing this information so that voters will know the truth about the views of these candidates and so they can make an informed decision with their precious vote” said McCallister. “Floridians are repulsed by the lack of decency and probity in an individual that would advocate digging up dead people just because of what that this or that group says about them” McCallister said. Similar information released in the 2016 is credited for squashing the campaign for Tampa Democrat Ed Narain, who also adopted the purge platform of the radical left. In a 2017 Gravis Marketing poll (Here), the majority of Florida voters, including Democrats, were in favor of a State Law protecting and preserving war memorials even if they were related to the Confederacy. “These candidates are out of touch with the mainstream, and appear to be pandering to the radical left Anti-Fa and Black Lives Matter hate groups who want to destroy America and her history” concluded McCallister.

SAVE SOUTHERN HERITAGE Inc. is a not for profit corporation that educates & advocates on behalf of Southern Heritage & History. It was started in 2015 in response to the knee-jerk Anti-Southern institutionalized bullying and “Eracism” levied against the people of South Carolina by Governor Nikki Haley, after she broke all previous agreements about how South Carolina’s historical veterans and their symbols should be treated and respected. The Florida branch was activated in mid-January 2016, in response to three initiatives in the Florida Legislature that are part of a hate campaign led by Anti-American extremists, who refuse to respect the various cultures that make up the fabric of Florida’s society. Since that time, it has grown in membership and has been active in battles over American History and throughout Florida including the “We’ll Remember in November Campaign” that resulted in #heritagehater candidates to loose elections in Florida and others to win.
