SOUTHERN HERITAGE STATEMENT ON ALLENDALE UMC LEADER'S TALLAHASSEE TANTRUM
Tampa – We were not surprised to hear that Florida House of Representatives Chamber conventions were disregarded by so-called “Reverend” Andy Oliver Wednesday. After all, we have seen Mr. Oliver’s organization’s disruptive apostate works first hand over the years.
Oliver’s outreach director, Michael Anderson, is one of the leaders in the Florida “Take ‘em down” movement calling for the wholesale elimination of War memorials to Southern War Veterans throughout Florida's civic landscape.
“We have documented Anderson traversing Florida over the last few years bringing with him a devastating Hurricane of Hate targeted at his Southern neighbors” said David McCallister, Save Southern Heritage – FL spokesman.
“We first saw him first in Tampa at the County Commission meeting re-vote over Memoria in Aeterna and have documented him in Bradenton where the Memorial was “Weaponized” by the radical left-wing groups “Answer Suncoast” and “Black Lives Matter””. He has been spotted in St. Augustine and Jacksonville as well.

“The obvious irony is that this bunch ignore biblical directives including Proverbs 22:28 - 'Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set’; and Matthew 22:39 - 'love your neighbor as yourself'. We, their Southern neighbors don’t feel the love when all this hate is directed to us and our families” McCallister added.
We were not surprised by the hypocrisy of Mr. Allen’s ‘prayer’ as he called for liberation of “the oppressed, while, through Allendale’s works, advocates oppression, even elimination, of his Southern neighbors’ family landmarks. (Watch replay HERE). “It’s just another day being a Southerner in the South – we’re a witch in the ‘hate America’ witch-hunt’ McCallister added.
Norms and conventions don’t apply to Mr. Oliver as he advocated for every apostate cause under the sun in his legislative hissy fit Wednesday, so it is not surprise that the bible’s directives do not apply to him.
Attacks from those who advocate for ‘acceptance’, ‘fairness’ and ‘diversity’ while not offering it in return are not new to Southerners. Just this week CNN’s Don Lemon’s program mocked Americans with Southern accents, suggesting Southerners can’t read.
“Perhaps one day John Q. Public will realize that Southerners are just low hanging fruit in the netwar on American culture and civilization and that Satan has moved from the choir loft to the pulpit” McCallister said. “Hopefully it won’t be too late for America” he concluded.
SAVE SOUTHERN HERITAGE Inc. is a not for profit corporation that educates & advocates on behalf of Southern Heritage & History. It was started in 2015 in response to the knee-jerk Anti-Southern institutionalized bullying and “Eracism” levied against the people of South Carolina by Governor Nikki Haley, after she broke all previous agreements about how South Carolina’s historical veterans and their symbols should be treated and respected.
