DONOR STUDY:  DEMS UNMAKSED AS "VOICES" IN THE LAKE COUNTY HISTORY MUSEUM COUNTY LAWSUIT

Tavares – A comprehensive Study released today reveals that the Democrat Party is squarely behind the lawsuit filed recently against the Lake County Board of County Commissioners filed by the “Lake County Voices of Reason” (“Voices”). Extensive research was conducted on the individuals who donated to a Gofundme campaign which is summarized in a detailed 66 page report entitled "A Study:  Who are the “Lake County Voices of Reason”?” (View: Study Exhibit A) “We were curious about who was behind the lawsuit and weren’t too surprised by what we discovered” said David McCallister, spokesman for Save Southern Heritage – FL, the group who released the Study. “When we found out the attorney representing the group was based in Broward County, the dominion of Debbie Wasserman Schultz, it made complete sense” he added. “The so-called 'Voices of Reason' seem to be UN-reasonable Democrats who really just don’t want history in a history museum” McCallister added. If successful, the Voices lawsuit might use a provision of Florida Sunshine Law to reverse the 2018 Lake County Commission Decision to allow the private, albeit partially publicly-funded, history museum,  to display the embattled historic bronze sculpture of notable American military figure, Gen. Edmund Kirby-Smith when he returns to Florida from Statuary Hall in the Nation’s Capital in Washington, D.C. “The donors are a really hard core group of Democrat activists including party donors, failed candidates, elected officials, party bosses, and union leaders” McCallister said.  “It looks like the majority are geriatric hippies from the 60’s who are re-living their youth by substituting this war hero’s sculpture for the Vietnam War” he added.  Nancy Halbert, the Treasurer for the “Voices”, is Chairman of the Lake County Democrat Party. The attorney for the “Voices” is Jennito Simon who the Study suggests was or is a Committeeman for the Broward County Democrat Party Executive Committee.  Democrat Broward Co. Congressman Debbie Wasserman Schultz had been outspoken for Gen. Smith to be taken down from the State’s exhibit in Washington, even calling for a special session of the Legislature to do it. “It didn’t seem to matter what it would cost the taxpayers, she wanted it done right then – makes you wonder ‘why?’” McCallister observed. “Its really sad that American history is being weaponized, but then it seems like everything is being weaponized this election year” McCallister noted. “General Smith, like the Vietnam soldier, just served his country, and that, it seems, was his true sin in their minds” he added.  “If they win, we suspect the Museum might have a Free Speech Constitutional Rights claim against the County” McCallister remarked. Study research sources included social media sites, voter registration rolls, property appraiser records, and other internet research sites. Save Southern Heritage -FL conducted a similar study of the advocates for removal of Tampa’s Historic Memoria in Aetera, that revealed the group was populated with Anti-Trumpers, left wing Democrat Party activists as well as anarchists and Anti-Fa.  “In Tampa they got the  Republicans to do a ‘do-over” on the vote and they flipped to join the progressive left, despite polls showing the ‘take down’ vote was vastly unpopular with Tampa area voters” McCallister said.  “We will see if the Lake County Commissioners also flip under the Democrat-led pressure” he added.

SAVE SOUTHERN HERITAGE Inc. is a not for profit corporation that educates & advocates on behalf of Southern Heritage & History.  It was started in 2015 in response to the knee-jerk Anti-Southern institutionalized bullying and “Eracism” levied against the people of South Carolina by Governor Nikki Haley, after she broke all previous agreements about how South Carolina’s historical veterans and their symbols should be treated and respected. The Florida branch was activated in mid-January 2016, in response to three initiatives in the Florida Legislature that are part of a hate campaign led by Anti-American extremists, who refuse to respect the various cultures that make up the fabric of Florida’s society.  Since that time, it has grown in membership and has been active in battles over American History and throughout Florida including the “We’ll Remember in November Campaign” that resulted in #heritagehater candidates to lose elections in Florida and others to win.   More info: www.sshfl.org.
